Independent Boutiques are Pushing the Boat Out in Bristol!
With one in every four fashion purchases taking place online, Fashion Retail is harder today than ever before and independent boutiques need to up their game.
The Jerome Pugh Agency is organising a workshop on board a barge (on the Kennet and Avon Canal) at Bristol to help retailers improve the profitability of their stores.
Thierry Bayle of Global Fashion Management will be running the workshop, which will focus on fashion retailers’ 3 key assets: stock, people and data.
Thierry Bayle, Founder of GFM, commented ‘We’re delighted to be working with Jerome and his network of boutiques. Today retail is no longer about what you know, it’s about what you don’t know’.
Jerome Pugh added, ‘Things are really tough for retailers right now, especially in some of our coastal towns and if, as agents, we can help out with events like this, we can help our high streets to survive and thrive’.
GFM has been running a series of Retail Roadshows across the UK, the most recent have been in Shrewsbury and Hammersmith & Fulham.
Independent Retailers have found GFM’s approach to business refreshing and extremely helpful. Some of these events have been in partnership with local councils, while others have been organised by Business Points in libraries like Westminster Reference, City Business and Paddington.
Thierry Bayle regularly runs a retail surgery at Who’s Next Show in Paris and will be helping retailers further afield this December, when he provides advice and support to the fashion community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
